Owl Homes commissioned Clevercherry to transform their website, from a simple Wordpress build with limited functionality, to a custom built Property HQ website with a range of features including an interactive siteplan, sales advisor portal and the ability for potential customers to book appointments instantly without having to speak to a member of staff.
As part of their ongoing marketing strategy, Owl Homes recognised that in order to reach their forecasted sales targets, they needed to start generating more leads through their website. The limited functionality on their existing website could not support this initiative, and it was clear that more focus needed to be put on their digital presence, in order to nurture customers through to the point of enquiry.
Owl Homes is a privately-owned, forward-thinking home builder, specialising in producing sustainable, high-quality residential properties across the Midlands. They pride themselves on being customer centric, entirely committed to the Consumer Code for New Home Builders. Not wanting to go down the corporate route of many other homebuilders, the foundations of their brand image are transparency, honesty and approachability. During the initial website discussions, Owl Homes made it clear to us that the website design needed to reflect this, in order to maintain the friendly reputation that they are renowned for.
Our design and UX team created an intuitive, yet fun and colourful design that accurately reflected the Owl Homes ethos. To really get users engaged, we built in a number of quirky animations to really show their friendly personality; a simple touch with a big impact.
Owl Homes already used the EQEU2 CRM system for customer and sales management, however, their previous website didn’t support integrations with this platform. We worked alongside EQUE2 to ensure core customer data collected from the website, was seamlessly passed through to their CRM portal in the right format. This allowed Owl to continue using EQUE2 with no disruption to their current operations.
As Owl Homes continued to open new developments, their requirements extended to an interactive touchscreen for their sales offices. The touchscreen needed to contain the same functionality as the full website, with the removal of a few elements, all completely native to a touchscreen device.
We designed and built a touchscreen version of the website, pulling data, details and design elements from the website, which allowed customers to interactively view developments and house types, as well as make the most of helpful tools such as the interactive site plan, all within the sales office.

The analytics dashboard for Owl Homes was custom built to display top-level data and statistics on their developments, housetypes and plots.
The dynamic site plan allows users to navigate through a development, filtering by housetypes and status to find the relevant plots tailored to their requirements.
